he can never change what he did but i’m glad they didn’t just get together and play the “forgive and forget card”
ML took the time to genuinely reflect on what he did and he never pressured the MC to get with him- it was HIS (MC’s) choice at the end of the day to get with the ML. thankfully it was never out of manipulation but out of actual love and affection overtime so that makes me really happy :)
the ML isn’t necessarily “redeemable” nor did he deserve a second chance, but MC gave that to him and i personally really like where the story is headed (⌒▽⌒)
tl;dr: people don’t necessarily deserve to be given a second chance, but if others are willing to give them one then hopefully those people will use their new chances wisely to grow and change for the better
The author is really good at giving characters depth, this is a psychological manhwa for a reason i guess thats why the mc fell for him. The ML definetly needs psychological support because im pretty sure he used to be a biastophile/suffered from biastophilia. He is a rapist and his victim forgiving him doesnt change that but it took a long time for him to be forgiven and if anything he was actually sorry. Not a justification at all but i hope everything goes well for the mc atleast.
