Stop fetishizing problematic gay relationships written by straight women to justify your own messed up fantasies. This is just straight up porn so I doubt it's meant to be taken seriously, unlike the authors other works. Rape and SA is not sexy and no one dreams of it, what a disgusting statement to make.
Ah how disgusting, sometimes i feel bad for women because of disgusting pieces of shit like you. Paraphilia has become something looked down apon because it is abnormal and frankly very revolting. Do we forget that the people being portrayed in these manhwas are homosexual men? If you like rape so much go out at night in colombia and see how horrible it is to experience. This just makes my skin crawl, you nasty as fuck. Paraphiliacs trying to normalise their abnormal tastes are so gross.
Who tf is we? The reason why it slowly got lost in recent years is because people finally started to realize that rape and assault shouldn't be normalized. 'Controlled rape fantasy'? Really?? Maybe if you're watching porn ok sure go ahead with your twisted fantasies everyone has their own tastes after all but this is a story trying to pass rape and blackmail as something that 'can be done without facing consequences'. Its such a shitty and even if you deny it, a toxic trope that encourages violence against people who won't resist and shows that its ok to not face consequences after violating and traumatizing someone who loves and tolerates you. If you like seeing someone who gets raped, assaulted and then disregarded by the person who they hold affections for then there's something wrong with you. No one should ever be put through that, not even in fiction.
Typically these semes don't even do that much after the fact, they just instantly get forgiven by acting all sad, oh, and maybe throw in a random incident that will hurt them to spice things up then they'll say sorry to uke, uke feels too emotionally unstable to think straight and just straight up forgives them. But what about all the hurt the uke has endured? The tears? Those incidents wherein he was raped and assaulted repeatedly without being able to resist? Those are all just disregarded by the author and never talked about again. These bAd BoY semes you oh so lOooOOve won't even experience half the suffering the ukes endured. Just one word and boom forgiven.
Ok and the OP's little 'we women' contextually implying that all women love this shitty rape trope is okay and are hard ass facts? Okay. Plus it IS true that most of these toxic yaoi stories are made by straight women. Try looking up the names of the authors of those popular toxic yaois you'll see that most of them are as what the commentor described. People like you who 'defend' their beliefs by degrading people are the mental toddlers lol
Oh I don't know maybe I'm using the same words you used to insult other people against you as an irony? And plus, I said MOST. Just look at their available social medias and you'll see that some of them are even publicly in a relationship with men. You can argue that they're bi or some other sexuality with being attracted to men included in it or whatever, but it still doesn't change the fact that they're fully functioning adult women who write about gay men getting raped and trying to pass said thing as okay and romantic. You just can't hold off in adding insults in every reply you leave huh?
I’m actually quite happy to see the ‘fantasy rape’ trope coming back in recent years. It was big in the 90’s early 00’s. All these tropes ebb and flow, but fantasy rape has always been big in yaoi/BL. Why? Because fantasy rape is statistically the #1 female fantasy! Whether you like it or not, on average, we love this shit! We love the bad boy turns good because we can change him. Our fiction reflects that. This isn’t bad or even toxic. It’s a *fantasy*. Historically, and even modern day, women love this dynamic. Because it’s not real. We, the women, control the rape in these scenarios. That’s why it’s also called a ‘controlled rape’ fantasy. I loved it in the 90s (when it wasn’t taboo, but totally normal in yaoi AND het romance novels) and I love it now. No shame in loving this trope! It’s a normal trope!
