I'm curious about the fathers relationship with the crown prince. It seems like the father never shows any emotion and while he doesn't neglect the crown prince it doesn't seem they're actually close. In the past life when his sister killed their Father the crown prince wasn't even mad or crying about it, he was more emotional about his sister. That would also explain why he clung to his sister so much, I don't think he actually felt any real love or bond with his Dad like that. He treats his sister like she's his only family.
