✿So, MC is already in love with him. Now ML starts to fall in love, I think, when she starts to make him realize that being rejected by first love is not bad and that what he did is not wrong, like he started to open up to see around the from there. MC knows how to be calm with him and starts slowly, you can see that the moment he starts to let go of his feelings for the original couple, he starts to admire how MC uses what she has, her elegance and without lower your head. Really, the bad thing about the novel is that it doesn't show much from the ML point of view, so we don't have a specific moment to say, that's when he fell in love.
Now how ogML and ogFL reacted. ogML, realized that the love he felt for ogFL has flaws, he starts to feel something for MC, I really think it's more admiration and as she focuses on ML, we can say he's jealous and he really says that to ML, if my memory doesn't fail me.
Now Diana, as she is going through the crisis in her marriage, because the ogML is no longer agreeing with her ideology, starts to go after the ML and thinks he will come back to her. In a cover she has alone with MC, she even says that MC has to divorce ML because he actually loves her (ogFL).
But as I said in my previous spoiler, ML no longer cares about the ogFL and he himself will take the complaint to the Senate about the temple and by the way he will have Diana in the middle of it, besides he is totally cold with the ogFL and throws her present into the fireplace. I loved that part as he starts to develop a plan to be able to become a real couple with the MC.
✿"love story" begins when Kael would ask Hestia to hold his hand to sleep and slowly start to accept Hestia as his wife despite still fighting his feelings for Diana. One day he kisses her while she is half asleep (she remembers the kiss and thinks its a dream), he tries to get closer to her but she draws a very obvious line between them, she is hesitant and afraid to take their relationship to the next level in that way.
Well, she tells Kael just as much and he is disappointed. imo around this part Kael actually becomes a stronger character, he throws away what Diana gives him, some bracelet. And he starts to become more active in the Palace like old times and gets ready to go for some negotiation in a far away country, Hestia gets very sad and stressed about Kael leaving as she has no idea what might happen, this part was not in the past she knew, so for the first time she is in the dark.
Well, Kael comforts her and they end up doing IT before he leaves, very passionately haha,, and he writes to her while there that he can't wait to see her. And when he does come back a while later, he rushes to her and ravishes her. Basically Kael becomes attached to her, can't stay away from her and fell in love with her like that. He never forced himself to love her, it happened naturally.
Kael kinda fked up by siding with Diana upon Helios request, basically voted to keep her as crown princess and ruining all the effort of Hestia, Hestia was so upset about it. Kael was DESPERATE to make up with her, she kinda assumed he would always choose Diana no matter what but that isn't true, anyways that part really showed how much Kael wanted Hestia by his side and Diana basically is his past that he doesn't want to even look back at.
I think he couldn't help but fall in love with someone who took care of him so much without wanting anything back. Hestia did so much for him, his people and not just that, her care and devotion to him was sincere. She was never greedy for his affection in return and even shied away from it.
✿When Hestia confessed that she might die, Kael was still depressed, so he was just a little shocked and doubtful.
But when he fell for her, he started to be paranoid to the point he wanted her to be visited by the doctor everyday until the Day X passed.
✿Hestia kisses the sleeping Cael on the forehead, Caelus was awake when she did it.
And so he returned the favour eventually...... but on her lips

Cael was saying something to her during that time and it includes the word 'dream'. All what Hestia picked up was that word. So she was guessing.
Did he say, 'it's a dream'? Or 'do you think this is a dream?'? And so on and so forth.
BUT
When you read side story 6 when Cael admitted that he actually kissed her that night, do you know what he said?
'It's not a dream. Hestia.'
So..... you know what that means.........
My man was telling him, it ain't a dream and then our girl slept on him............ imagine she didn't.......
✿The tea party incident, So, Hestia & the Marquisate have a soap business for commoner people. Diana invites Hestia to a tea party and there she starts to criticize her because the soap should be free if they want to set a good example. However Hestia retorts her and it ends with Diana pouring tea on Hestia.
Madam Harmonia (the one who actually convinced Hestia to go to the party) is extremely embarrassed by that. And this is the start of her splitting with Diana, and overall Hestia makes emphasis in how Diana took Kaelus and Harmonia for granted and never apologized or admitted she was wrong in the end Harmonia will accept Hestia's propose and will leave the capital and become the manager of the Attica state (Hestia's land)
✿Kael and Hestia become Dukes & Diana's try to get Kael again, Hestia had proof of the temple's corruption and Helios knows about it so he negotiates with her, she won't release the information and he will give Kael a Duke title and to her Attica's land. Hestia agrees but there is a loophole (Kael didn't agree soooooo, he will be the one to denounce).
I don't remember well but I think at this point the merchant ship in which Diana invested had already sank so as usual Diana was fighting with Hestia and going in her narcissist ways, when everyone is wrong but her, and Hestia told her: I just want you to apologize to Kael (actually Helios and Hestia will tell her this over and over again).
Diana who can't let her pride aside will think that the best way is to approach Kael again but he gives her no room, so instead she will give him a bag which he accepts and then forgets about it until it finds it in his pocket, and he will see his a bracelet, and burn it straight away cuz a this point he is already in love with Hestia and doesn't want to be misunderstood.
✿So at this point Kael and Hestia are already a couple and Kael goes to negotiate with an hostile kingdom, and Hestia is worried because the time she regressed is almost up and she doesn't know what is going to happen next. Helios visits her and she makes a mistake and he knows he is a regressor instead of a prophet, and that it's almost up to the time she died, he and Kael will worry a lot about her health due this.
Anyway, Kael comes back safely and he denounces the temple's corruption and Hestia is all happy because finally everyone is turning on Diana and she is experiencing the same as Kael, I must say that Diana kinda "apologizes" to Kael, because to be honest it wasn't really an apology more like 'I'm sorry I didn't want yo to die' or whatever and 'I still like you come back", and at this point it doesn't matter to Kael.
However when it comes to the vote for Diana's deposition, Kael informs Hestia he will vote against her and leaves for the palace. At this point Hestia thinks is because he doesn't want to see Diana suffer and will assume that since this is a novel and she is an extra it doesn't matter what she does, Kael will always help Diana somehow, and she goes to the balcony to think about 'going back' to her original korean life.
Kael will see this and think she wants to suicide and tell her that he doesn't care about Diana anymore confesses and they made up. However, it's until Helios clarifies that he was the one who asked Kael to oppose Diana's deposition that Hestia lets it go. Kael will propose Hestia to go together to the Attica State so they can focus on themselves instead of others.
✿Helios, Honestly, I ended up liking this character. He shows genuine remorse, and apologizes to Kael. He is also aware of his growing emotions towards Hestia (since she was a capable partner) and promises Kael and Hestia that he will not covet something of his again. (However it's mentioned until the end that Hestia would be his partner of choice, since she was really capable and reliable).
Along side he also helps them as he can, for example trying to calm and reassure Hestia when she 'confesses' she can't see the future anymore, the same as explaining why he asked Kael to oppose Diana's deposition:
- If the nobles could decide whatever is going with the Imperial family that would be a really bad precedent for the imperial family.
- And this personal reason (the one that he didn't tell Hestia but told Diana) he was afraid that if he divorced Diana, Diana would go back to pester Kael and interfere with his relationship.
Overall what I liked the most is that he recognizes that LOVE CAN'T DO EVERYTHING, he married Diana out of love, but they were different persons with different aspirations and values, and he had his duties as a Crown Prince and future ruler, and overall what he needed was a partner he could count with, not someone who was inflexible the whole time.
✿Diana Downfall, Hestia knows that a merchant ship of Baron Potos will sink, so she use Inverse Psychology to lure Diana to invest with other Nobles. She tells CP that the ship will sink and he believe her but Diana not; she use a year whole budget of the temple to invest. In the end the temple collapse with her because the ship really sank
✿Reason of the divorce, Diana wasn’t suited to be Crown Princess.
Hestia made her live a hell and after losing trust in Helios (he decided to put national interest first) she finds herself alone.
After Hestia gave birth, the emperor was near death and an heir to the throne was needed but Diana didn’t felt ready to have a child with a husband whom she doesn’t trust anymore. Therefore Helios gave her a choice: divorce or child.
Diana choose to divorce and not fulfill her duty.
In the end she choose to live in her own world and returned to the temple
✿Helios' second wife is a woman named, Juno, and she is a daughter of a Margrave family, whose territory is border to Attica, the land where Orcus family used to rule and is now under Hestia, our FL. He chose her because she's in a moderately powerful family and the family has no influence in the capital since they are staying in their territory.
In the special stories, Helios and Juno had a son named, Jupiter, and is 6 years old, one year younger than Krios, FL and ML's, Kaelus', son. They also had a daughter called, Venus, who is younger than FL and ML's second son, Deucalion, but older than FL and ML's daughter, Charites.
When the news that FL and ML are expecting their fourth child after their trip to Attica, Helios and Juno also decided to have a vacation to a royal villa to make their third child.
So yeah, Helios, ogML, moved on from Diana, and found his one true love with Juno, the lady from a Margrave family.
✿Hestia and Cael's children
They had three children.
Eldest and first son - Krios
born at side story and is seven years old in special side stories
Nicknamed 'Kri'
Has black hair and purple eyes
full of energy and always provokes and teases the hell out of Deucalion
2nd oldest and second son - Deucalion

Nicknamed 'Lion'
Has silver hair and purple eyes - the spitting image of Kaelus
Personality is also exactly like Kaelus
Is always provoked and teased by Krios...... and he falls for it.
Youngest and only daughter - Charites (pronounced as Karites)
3 years old in special side stories
Nicknamed 'Tes'
Has black hair and black eyes - the spitting image of Hestia (in the manhwa, her eyes would be red bc of the change in FL's eyes)
She was too young and isn't good at speaking very well yet
she was said to be open-minded and her cuteness is monopolized by the people in the ducal household (Kael and Hestia are now Duke and Duchess, so ducal it is)
By the end of the special stories, Hestia is confirmed to be pregnant with their fourth child..... so yay. Long live to Kaelus and Hestia xD
✿before the departure of Kaelus for negotiation to avoid war, Hestia is worried to death and cry at night.
Kaelus enter bedroom and start to “eat her”.
Hestia is bit panicked at the sudden move, and for the first time, she comes to know the lustful side of Kaelus but she accepts him. He ate her the whole night (poor Hestia, Kaelus, you’re a best) .
At the morning she wake up and Kaelus says the he hasn’t had enough of her and eats her again.
✿Kaelus return from negotiations, The moment Kaelus returns from the borders, he immediately “assault” Hestia and devour her (poor Hestia ahahaha). He became pretty obsessed with her. I think that the reason is because he realized that he might lose her so he wants to bind her to him more
✿-the emperor sees the son of Kaelus and he is happy (he considers Kaelus as a second son), his only wish is for everyone to be happy and to have a grandchild.
-the emperor dies peacefully in the sleep.
