I hope it's true , maybe she just look same as her mother but not the father .. or she maybe have a power or simply what FL always had like some kind of related to temple or blessings or ancient language cause look like her mother know a little bit about ancient language as well know tht ONLY known by uppers , just to mention how the duke react to the name of "RA"
I really hope she is not. I want at least one story where adopted children are depicted as being as precious to their parent as their sibling who is their parent's genetic offspring. I have finally found one story in this genre that shows the adopted child getting the boundless unconditional love, care and respect that they deserve from their parents, simply because they are parent's child and not because of weird reasons like "oh, you look like my dead lover" or "you were my genetic offspring all along". I am very happy that, so far, the story doesn't seem to show any signs of regressing into the disgusting trope of the adoptive parent only loving the child because they were their genetic offspring all along.
This is so perfect, as of now. The duke not only adores his new daughter and showers her with unconditional love but he hasn't been depicted as being uncaring and disregardful toward his other child once the MC comes into the picture. He has a different dynamic with his eldest child and heir than he does with the younger but it is very clear that he loves both of them. He is the teacher parent, the role model parent to his son and wasn't able to be his directly involved in his care, so they have a more distant dynamic whereas with his daughter, he is being much more hands on so he behaves much more like a primary caretaker with her. But he loves both of them very much. This is so reminiscent of real life families where the dynamic between the parents and the eldest child are, similarly, different from that between the parents and the younger one.
Also, the relationship between the sibling is chef's kiss, absolutely brilliant. As I'm sure that fellow eldest kids would agree with me, our younger siblings are the most precious things ever and God's gift to the world. I completely relate with Jade.
Very realistic and beautiful depiction of parenthood and siblinghood.
does anyone else think she might actually be his real daughter idk just a thought
