I read a lot of BL and action too. It doesn't even seem much of a queerbaiting to me. Feels like a normal acquaintance or frenemies relationship for the time being. Nothing strong enough to the point where I'm like "That's so gay. They're so in love. I ship it." People just see how they want to see it. I guess, take it as you view it but the characters are good enough to make it seem that way for others lmaoo.
As you can see by my name I am also a loved of BL and I do enjoy action so I agree with what you said
^^^ it's ambiguous in the way any such moments could *technically* be perceived as a little silly goofy flirting, but same goes for the other way around. The queerbaiting is as strong as mouthwash, if (in comparison) Profundis is vodka.
That being said the fact that their friendship will likely only ever be friendship hurts my soul.
