He’s not causing anything onto himself tho he liked that guy and he was coming to the realization of that and his mother happened to be there so he clarified it to her it’s not like he was expecting much from her but he sure wasn’t expecting her to try to send him to conversion therapy for liking men he can’t escape but he didn’t cause those issues himself the mom was the one who needed help since she kept playing victim and kept on hurting him without even knowing.
