It’s not like all of us will now read at those legal sites and apps, some might do but I THINK they will actually have just the same income if not lower because the amount of people who are supporting them from here by watching ads and earning coins through ads to support them will decrease because of this, thus i think they don’t even thought about this or they just don’t care about it and want those who pay no matter how many they are to be the only ones who can read their works to be fair. In conclusion some might just simply be not generous type of people
