I don’t understand, when I was like 15 a lot of my peers were already dating people 18+ and it was so common. Now even when I say hi to a minor (online coz I don’t go out my house lol) they already treat me like a pedo and I’m only 19 bro. And I see people commenting that a relationship between someone that looks young even tho they ere grown ups and someone who looks old enough it’s a weird relationship. WTH people!! I’m that kind of people that looks way younger than their actually age. Those kind of comments really bother me ngl. There’s nothing wrong or weird about it as long as there is consent and respect for the other person.

As a note, I don’t support pedophilia. I’m just trying to say that from certain age on we are mature enough to identify what is wrong and was is not. And don’t you think it’s weird how people normalize minors loving adults or is it just me?

I think an age gap can always mean a difference in maturity or experience. Now im not saying this is common, but it's especially wrong when a highschool freshman dates a senior for example. Not only is the freshman straight out of middleschool, but the senior is basically an adult. Idk it's really complicated but I think it's fine to start dating older people at 18. It just gets really weird because you can get groomed by someone older even as an adult, everyone reaches mental maturity at different ages.

Also yeah it's really weird for people to normalize minors looking adults, it adds to the pedophilia culture and normalizes power imbalances due to age. It's disgusting.
