ML goes crazy after that. He habitually calls in maids like he did before, thinking that Li would barge in and beat the maids like she always we did due to jealousy. But she never came. He progressively got worse after that. He beats the maids too. I think he died lonely like that
I like that ending better. Not that character dying is good and all, but the relationship between the two is just that hopeless. Thanks for letting me know.
