Well.. he could have cleared the misunderstanding instead of acting aloof. He could have saved himself from so much trouble..
That’s certainly true, but out of character, he wouldn’t trouble himself with that
The MC also didn’t really asked, he made a statement, and the ML answer implies that he didn’t - it’s a one panel thing so far, but i guess our MC should soon remember ;)
To be clear, i’m not saying the ML is a nice guy or an easy person, i just don’t understand why so many people call him a bully, when whatever happens is mostly made up by the MC with huge responsibilities on the MC side, and i seriously think the ML patience is one of his few good points so far ;p
The ML is obviously not someone with a lot of patience. He is tolerant of the MC because he likes him duh.
I read so many comments about how bad the ML is, and how he’s a bully, i nearly skipped reading
But in reality, isn’t the arrogant one the MC ? He misunderstood his senior and hated him onesidedly, based on his own guess - he blamed him and entitled himself to be disrespectful for the sake of a grudge he shouldn’t have had, if he had asked instead of pushing his conclusions and accusing without proof and he’s dishonest and selfish to the boot
If you were the ML, are you sure you would hire and forgive so many times the excess of that person ?
So in the end: where is the bullying ? When he’s not fired for bad behaviors ? When he’s not send the bill for overeating himself sick in a welcoming dinner ? When he’s let of with a mean ride after ruining an expensive bike (ok not entirely his fault) and replacing it with a crappy one ?
In all circumstances the MC plays the victim and the reader agree ?
But he’s mostly responsible for his own misfortune, if anything, his boss is truly helping him, at least by tolerating his excess - he’s also pretty remarkable for having so little grudges after being made to carry so much blame for things he didn’t do
When the ML sees his ex, it’s exactly what he reproaches him, but that’s how he is towards his boss, and in the same way his ex gave himself permission to be mean and unfair for all what he blamed him for - isn’t he actually doing the same taking petty revenges for things that only happened in his imagination ?
