I'm going to assume you mean, what are nonbinary people! A binary is a system where there are two possible answers. In the case of gender, the binaries are considered boy or girl. So nonbinary is for anyone who does not fit into those categories. It's an umbrella term, so there's a lot of variation person to person. They may be genderfluid (going between genders), a third inbetween gender, or agender (don't consider themself any gender). Gender is a complicated thing and everyone expresses themselves differently.

hi!! non-binary is a umbrella term, just like the word queer. non binary just means anybody who does not identify as a boy or a girl or somebody who can identify as both a boy and a girl or neither. if the person identifies with they/them it means they are most comfortable with only those pronouns. please only refer them with they/them, their name or words like “you,your,you’re” etc. it’s rude to use “she” and “he” to somebody who uses they/them. there is a term called misgendering.

sexuality’s and gender identities are two different things. a non-binary person can be bisexual, gay, asexual, pan sexual etc. there is no restrictions because they are non binary. a gay person does not need to identify as a male or he/him, same with lesbian.

It is rude to call anyone something they didn't prefer. For example, if you call a man "miss" or "she", most would probably correct you, right? Not every nonbinary person uses they, but a lot of people like it cause its neutral. they do all fall under the trans umbrella but yes are different. Trans as in ftm mtf is transitioning to opposite gender. Non-binary (also an umbrella term) means not aligning with gender binary. (ftm means female to male and mtf means male to female)

gender and sexuality are different. They can be gay, lesbian , bi, pan, ect. Gay means non women loving non women and lesbian means non men loving non men so if that person chooses to use lesbian if they love non men or gay if they love non women they can
