In a world with mobile phones what she did just is shitty. It almost like she didn't know where he lived. You cannot say you REALLY, REALLY, LOVE someone, then at any hint you think you are being dumped you just immediately get another person. I don't know what the author's aim was but that just gave me red flags with her.

I am basing her actions on who it affected and her actions given the setting. She even says he was a kind and decent guy and yet that was her course of action.
