Actually, mabe because its the authors who just make them ugly, and Korean's educational system is almost the same as America.
But sometimes Korean students tend to look like fourty from the amount of stress and lack of sleep because of College lol
I think that it's just that some people really do look like they are 40 yo
I myself had a classmate that was 27 but looked like 47 lol

Why are there always student that look fourty in manhwa? Is the Korean educational system just that different for what I know? How long do you usually study in Korea? Is it just that you can retake a year as many times as you want? Or is it just a consequence of the mandatory military service?
