I definitely agree the ML was messed up in the past life, but idk. I mean, we have to remember that he didnt know anything about humans until the uke told him some things in this life. I'm not trying to justify anything he did, but realistically speaking, I think he was either too intoxicated in his love to care or too ignorant to realize that what he was doing was a HUGE problem. Honestly, I think there's just a big miscommunication problem between the two. The emperor probably just couldn't keep it in his pants cuz the uke cute as f*ck and it came across as him tormenting the uke. Also, earlier the jins were talking about a possible miscommunication with the word "hobby" so I definitely think that happened in the past.
