He seems to have low self esteem regarding Momoki, maybe he felt that Momoki wouldn’t want anything with him anymore after they did the deed and left :( (he’ll probably gallantly come back at some point tho excited for that)
Precisely. Another trope where they both think the other will leave because that’s what was agreed on so one of them leaves first. However, I feel like Momoki is the one with the lowest self esteem. The other guy seems to face his problems head on while Momoki is the one who runs away.
He probably went home to tell his family he loves him or whatever as the trope goes, but he could at least have waited until Momoki woke up to leave.
