I mean it is a bl they don’t show the sex scenes but there are scenes that make people think this is a yaoi
It contains sex scenes, but it has no lightsabers. So... it's a little bit in the middle of both. Like on one hand is a bit risqué for a Shounen Ai, on the other it's too tame for Yaoi.
Also, the story is pretty cute with them going on different cases everytime that it doesn't even matter if it's Shounen Ai or Yaoi.
currently there's only been about one(?) short sex scene between the two but i think the story is mainly focused on plot and developing their relationship,, hope that helps !!
