honestly, it’s totally the coach’s fault. His obsession with total victory is leading Yu into a depressed, emotionless life. It’s probably just a demonstration to show how far the coach is willing to go for victory.

Yu has been depressed. Coach wanted to show him a life that could be if he chose to do something with it. Although Yu STILL has no passion for boxing it the least he could do to support the one of the only people he holds somewhat close to him, which is his cat...The only time Yu seemed to be letting up is when he was with his assistant that one time and she wants to save him from the coach who is now went from already being extreme to near immoral.
