its not just yaoi tho... i also have that asi grew up... but i got therapy to understandmy basic emotions. the way you grow up like love from parents does have lots of effects on someone

Yeah for sure, issues stemming from parenting or lack of parenting is def a real thing. I guess I'm just pointing out how commonly it's used as a back story for yaoi semes lol
