Nope if you read earlier chapters again you will find out that trigger was in charge of her since day one.. So yeah he being lost is kind of his responsibility.. Not to forget how much the Alexander loves Chloe.. It's like when you lose your younger sister in the woods and you come back and get smacked out of fear.. My mom used to do that and then hug me and i didn't call it abuse because I know that she's not in her right mind and fear is controlling her.. And calling a punch in the face abuse between men is excessive based on the era they were living in.. If it was in reality he would be in prison being whipped lol..
