Just reread and, yes she was drugged but he came out of nowhere and grabbed and kissed her first. I'm guessing his illness was acting up (not sure what that has to do with sleeping with someone), but that leads me to believe he would have done it regardless of whether she was drugged or not while falling off the cliff. Just got "lucky" that she needed him at that time as well.. Bottom line, I'm not finding any decent qualities in this ml.
