Next chap idk if it'll include the case but pretty much what happened is Aria helped out this kid who was hurt by pick pocketer by using her hourglass.
Then Aria and Asher rest somewhere waiting for the carriage to catch up. Aria falls asleep cause hourglass withdrawals while Crown prince looking at her "dad's" documents or whatever they found on him. Her dad be a banished royal cause is shameful deeds. He also looks at Aria's hourglass cause she was sleeping with it.
Skip to when they get back.
Aria is immediately accused for murder and decided to take it to court.
Aria and Mielle go to court trying to prove that the other one was the one who committed the crime.
Mielle loses the case because there was enough evidence to prove Aria was not home at all, very far away, and Mielle's "witnesses" threw her under the bus.
Mielle is tossed into jail after the evidence was analyzed and given a 20 year sentence still blaming Aria for everything. Cain trying to get her out atm and discussing what they saw. Mielle trying to push him to tell the judge he saw her but it wouldnt make sense to. The bail document he sent was rejected. Their dad wakes up but cant say anything and cant do anything but blink.
