I agree, but I’d add the reason the ml’s have no chemistry with Hilise is probably because she is now a bit cold and closed off from everyone around her because of the lives she lived before.
I think it's because they didn't have enough interactions yet. Also, their connection is still omitted from the story. Ml is likeable though.
I love this! our female lead is very powerful & headstrong <3 but the male leads really suck ass, they lack chemistry with the female lead.
Its just my little problem with this arising troupe of powerful female lead x another powerful male lead but most of them end up having forced romance / lack of chemistry
but it's not really too much of a bother since I get to see powerful women step on other insignificant trashes
