I think when he said that doesn't mean 'I like Both, but I like Man more than woman' but it means he prefer man than woman like any gay should in a subtle way. if he is BI, than why he is troubled when his parents want him to marry? Isn't the reason he proposed to marry Chloe so he could pretend to have a normal life since homosexuality is considered as grave sin for commoner, Chloe know he is gay and won't love her forever but marrying him would prevent her from getting sold off at least.
