I feel like he’s still confused. He’s separated 704 and the person he used to live pretty well but at the same time he’s always on the edge and kinda hoping 704 will feel something even if it s wrong. He got way to excited at the idea that 704 may be acting more human. I think he just needs a little nudge before he completely falls again
