i read this in one sit and it's satisfying this far. the premise is mediocre, but the story gets better and makes you keep scrolling. it's still not clear what the story would going to, but maybe there's a bloodshed scenes happened soon? i thought that the story would only rotates around jae dohwa, but the more chapters i read, it becomes clear that the mc are four of them at once--and they all have correlation to each other
it's interesting that we have various character with complex personalities here; jae dohwa, the one you see on the cover, is someone who's really out of the place. but she doesn't care. she does what she wants, she speaks what's on her mind and brutally honest about that. she have rather eccentric way of thinking that most people can't comprehend, that's why she's being labeled as nuts. the weird thing is, despite that, those people would come and asking help from her because she's indeed talented
donghae, a child prodigy who was always being top student and being accepted in medical school, one day had to dropout because he got trauma, then he tried again but this time as an art student. evie, his girlfriend, is a talented artist that enrolled to the same uni with donghae. her image looks innocent, somebody like girl next door, but she's secretly having kinks and sexual fantasies. she wants to being held roughly but donghae couldn't fulfill it because he isn't into that
taeho is the most interesting, imo. from the first time he's introduced into the story, i had hunch that he's maybe having antisocial personality disorder, bcs he showed lack of interest towards other, lack of emphaty in when choosing the words to communicate, etc. and it's confirmed right in later chapters. dr seo, the one who treated taeho for free, a side character that's important for taeho's character development is also interesting
i like how the story tried to picture about the dark reality of humans natural desire. and don't even question the art, it's so stunning. the author knows how to make expression, i personally like how they draw the eyebags and shadows under characters' eyes. it makes them look alive yet creepy at the same time
the episode's filler is sometimes too long but for all the good sides this manhwa has, i won't complain much about that. in conclusion, you should give this a try if you want some fresh horror to read<3 oh, there's a thing that makes me ticked off though; on some chapters the mole on dohwa's upperlips become non existent so i think maybe the author forgot to put it sometimes lol
