Yeah. A no is a no and they should not try to proceed. It’s really bad and after it happens no one speaks of it again. Some of the authors also put r*Pé scenes in a chapter just because, and that could be really triggering.
I just think there needs to be a change because this would not be normal with a male-female couple (although I think not everyone thinks that way) so why should it be normal with a male-male couple.
