I think what he meant is that they will be enemies in the future since he wants to have revenge on Hwa’s sect for killing his parents. It’s like he’s conflicted since she’s being kind with him now, but they will be enemies in the future once he betrays the sect for revenge (he’ll probably attempt to kill Hwa’s father since he’s the sect leader and Hwa will be mad for sure).
