She was always on the Tampon head’s side since childhood. (Spoiler involved)
1) Jiwoon was born from a mother who was from a less prestigious family than his father’s family. His grandmother (his father's mother) is a person who expects her family to be perfect to match their high status.
2) One day Jiwoon’s mother's family went bankrupt and collapsed. Jiwoon’s grandmother was very angry and couldn't accept that someone from a fallen family was in her house, so she kicked Jiwoon’s mother out.
Jiwoon’s father was very sad and disappointed in his mother (Jiwoon’s grandmother) who cares only about his family's honor, and went as far as disowning her daughter-in-law.
3) Jiwoon’s mother had to stay with her family to take care of the mess in her family, so Jiwoon only stayed with his father. But then his father also left, in the end both the mother and father went missing, most likely they ran away together, leaving poor Jiwoon behind.
They left Jiwoon with his grandmother when he was very young.
4) As time passed by, Jiwoon got emotionally unstable and lacked guidance and was given no proper affection because his parents were gone and he overheard that they abandoned him. Young Jiwoon threw a fit and hurt himself. His grandmother said she shouldn't have let Jiwoon’s mother of such low status marry her son, because such a mess - Jiwoon was born.
5) She sent Jiwoon to therapy and didn’t care about him, because her first grandson, which is Jiwoon’s cousin (red tampon haired bastard) was excellent in her eyes. She always prioritized and favoured the first grandson while neglecting Jiwoon. Without proper parental guidance and love, Jiwoon became like the present day him.
6) Jiwoon came back from “therapy" during middle school. As a child who grew up without his family's love and with being left behind by his parents, he grew to be very possessive and scared of abandonment, which showed when he fell for Suha.
But he also became rather dull, which also dissatisfied his grandmother. When Jiwoon came back, he met Suha, whose family was taken care of by his grandmother.
What no Ms Choi is on Jiwoon side. The person who said "confidentiality is the utmost importance" is the woman with grey hair who works under Red head and she is the one who handed the paper to red head.
There are two ladies, ms Choi and that grey hair bi*ch from red head side. That grey hair lady is the one who power abusing yoon in early chapters too
Suha is NOT related to Grandma President Lee. Lee is just a common last name. Suha’s father was close to President Lee (i think through work) so when his father passed away, President Lee took care of his family. In Korea, children take the last name of their father only and the women don’t change their last name. Grandma President Lee married a Park. They had two sons, Jiwoons dad And Do Hyeok’s dad (who we see in chp 79 and 80). In chapter 79 we find out that Jiwoon’s dad married a woman President Lee didn’t like and forced her out of the family. Jiwoon’s dad left to go after her and left Jiwoon with President Lee and Do Hyeok (later Suha). His dad never returned and President Lee expressed her hatred towards Jiwoon very openly. So Do Hyeok and Jiwoon are cousins. President Lee is their Grandma. Suha and his family is not related.
I used to think Ms. Choi was on Director Park’s side. That her warning of “confidentiality is the utmost importance” was about keeping Suha hidden. But now I’m thinking that she’s on Do Hyeok’s side.
