i have... a bit to say about the story so far lol. cirrus is an absolute dick don't get me wrong but he clearly has issues and doesn't want to accept that fact. this is obviously a point that is going to be addressed as the story progresses. he should've asked for permission and considered skylar's feelings regarding the kiss, but he doesn't recognize it (or want to recognize it) as an issue, and that in itself is a problem. this we know.
but, regarding the aftermath in how he dealt with skylar's reaction, i want to give him a little benefit of the doubt, albeit bedrudgingly. we've already established he has some serious issues (which doesn't excuse his actions at all, but i digress). he also doesn't know the full extent of the problem he's caused with skylar by kissing him yet. skylar is in no way, shape, or form obligated to tell cirrus what the real issue with what he did was, but i'm assuming he's going to find out at some point in the story, and by then hopefully there's been some character development and he realizes the true weight of what he did and atones for it. however, as of now, he can only infer from what he's seen, so i can see why he's not taking it as serious as it is. he doesn't have to be a dick about it, he can see the impact his actions had on skylar and guess the severity, but that circles back to him just having issues.
if chan-il is a possibility, he's clearly the better option. skylar doesn't deserve getting saddled with cirrus. but cirrus makes for a more interesting story. plus i love the art and i want to see how the characters develop, so i guess i'm in this for the long run
