After this, it goes back to Ronya's side of the story. The Spirit King came to invite Ronya to the forest and at the same time, check up on his friend whom he was worried would be sad and lonely. But, when he got there, he saw her very happy and in a better state then when she was with her asshole ex-fiance.
Anyway, all of them goes to the forest, Ronya meets an old friend there. The kings Mage, who is also I love with Ronya, but doesn't tell her since he knows that she doesn't feel the same and wants to keep the relationship as it is until it deepens then he'll tell her. He wanted to know if she was alright, and also to warn her about a demon that was bent on looking for her.
So demons in this world loves to cause problem, possess people, and bring them despair. This particular Demon is obsessed with Ronya, so the Mage wants her to be extra careful. The Mage is going after the Demon, but because it's a Demon, it's still dangerous.
After all the catching up and warning, the Mage leaves the forest to go capture the loose Demon. While Ronya was talking to the Mage, the Spirt King told the Beast Merchant about Ronya's past. He knew that it was better to hear from Ronya, but knowing her, she wouldn't tell a soul because she didn't want to burden them with her story. When the beast merchant's found out about her past, each one of them wanted to beat the shit out of her ex-fiance. They also vow (I think) to keep Ronya safe and make her as happy as possible.
Ronya comes back from talking, they have a party in the forest, solve a coffee problem in the forest, and then Ronya falls asleep with all the furry around her.
Then it goes back to assailed ex-fiance point of view.

Lexi is awesome! While reading the novel, this was one of the scene I was looking forward to! I'm so glad the artist didn't pull back their skill and did a full on mode of how Lexi was truly feeling!
