This is just my theory bit what if Hanma is also a time leaper? In the story that Hanma will tell to Kisakis grave about The clown and the shinigami. The clown is Kisaki and The shinigami is Hanma because Hanma's mission is to deliver Hina or Takemichi to their deaths so thats the reason why he keeps on helping Kisaki and Hanma thinks of Kisaki as the clown because Kisaki always do everything so that he can be with Hina but Hanma knows that they are not meant to be thinking thats he is a clown. And the activator of the Time leap is kisaki and thats the reason why Hanma is always saving Kisaki and now that Kisaki is death Hanma cant comeback to the future
