it’s very vague since it’s been a long time since I finished the novel
so after this they divorced finally after that the white haired dude finally exposed that wen was the one who saved gu and not bitch ass shenshit over here
the reason wen was still w him bc of his dad bc they’re tryna manipulate for a project manipulate is a strong word but they threatened him w that
but in the end they didn’t resort and divorced
then wen went to hospital for his injuries and trauma and I think he met the blonde hair dude and at first he ignored him but gradually accepted him and became friends
and gu he felt sorry and wanted to be back w wen after he knew the truth of everything
now wonder why keep from the truth you can say I’m the one who saved you
but the thing is wen prevented them from saying it
and the necklace belonged to his mother so I think he lost it after seeing sheng wearing it (fyi this might be shown in the next chap)
but yea gu is a bitch and sheng is the worst of the worst

it’s still laughable how you want someone’s forgiveness when you’ve put them through years of abuse and trauma, mentally and physically on top of that not putting the effort of finding the truth and relying on secondary resources so much for using your moneys worth
and even then if he didn’t find out the truth sooner its cruel to treat someone as garbage and not to mention wen has been going to hospital for treatment as such
I honestly hate gu to the core and istg if anyone ships them or be like give him a second chance I will go batshit crazy
