Since the authority of the duke is only second to the imperial family, surely they'd be able to uncover the shit behind the FLs father? Not to mention, he was a direct witness to the FLs abuse, in his rabbit so they can easily bring him down.
Yea she would be executed for tricking the royal family if she gets caught.. plus she AGREEED in becoming the dukes fake daughter so she cant even say shes a hostage
I'm pretty sure there would be some sort of paper trail and witnesses against the Duke's trickery. Like he's gonna get what is coming to him and at the end of the day she is a pawn of the duke. She could be used as a scapegoat (the royal family trying to blame it solely on her as part of this grand scheme) but Hadelund is too powerful to piss off like that.
It's quite good to know that the ML knew the circumstances of the FL and, despite that and being a noble himself, he still fell for her...
But, if he did propose to her, wouldn't that only benefit that a$$hole duke?
And her positions really scary since if she did indeed manage to marry the crown prince and later on her facade gets expose, then not only the duke but her family would get executed?
Still, it would benefit her greatly if she ends up with Hadelund since their family is secretive...
Though, i still want them together without anything needed to hide...
