Drowned together. I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be a sad ending, but the author later added another episode where they were born again and found each other so yay.

Uhmm, can someone please explain the ending? Was it supposed to be a happy ending or a sad one? Did they plan to cross the sea and managed to accomplished it as shown at the last panel, or their plan was to drown themselves?
