I’m so glad someone agrees with me on the r*pe trope!!! There are way better options for bl’s i get that the author wants to cause some form of plot twist/ drama but there are better and other ways to cause that. I especially enjoy just a slow burn bl myself and not only that i understand people hate love triangles but it does work really well for causing drama and it doesn’t need to include and form of uncontested sexual things! there’s also the enemies to lover trope for a bl which in my opinion you don’t see often enough in bls. I’m telling you there are so many good options for bl that don’t need to include things like that and I think that it’s about time that authors look into that… Ik I can’t judge someone in the writing industry considering I don’t write but I still think that there are better troupes .

Thank goodness trashy boss stopped, I wouldn't have been able to deal with another r*pe scene here. Sagold CHILL BRO. Like, I don't care if the boss is hot, CONSENT IS HOTTER. Also, even if Hyuk said "yes" at some point, it is still NOT consent because he was sleeping AND he was drunk. The boss is still super trashy, because he almost daily sexually harass Hyuk and now even assaulted him in his sleep. Thank goodness he didn't go all the way. I've been reading BL for almost 20 years now, and it's high time for the r*pe trope to disappear from the genre, thank you very much.
