How about you?

Whenever i read an ongoing manga, I stop once I think I got the story I deserved to read. I don-t want to read complocated stories because sometimes you have read too many and you can predict what happens next. I stopped reading escape journry when they became an official couple because i already had felt different emotions. It's just me anyway. How about you guys/girls/fudanshi/fujoshi?

I'm kind of opposite you. I still read it and wait for new chapter until the end. Because it feel like if I stop at the time like you said, I will miss something or development that may satisfy me more than what I hope for. It's true that the continuation after they become couple will be more sad or complicated but I think when the author decides to continue, they will give some interesting things to us. So maybe you don't want to miss it, it may be something more awesome than the result you got when you stop. It's my opinion

I almost never read ongoing manga because each time I do, I almost always want to kick myself for doing it. That or I spend the next hour scouring the web for raw.

I've done that, too. Kodai rules was in spanish so I had to translate everything to english just to read the next chapters... Now, I am practicing the art of waiting haha

What you said is true for me when I read other genre except yaoi. I seem to be patient and keep on asking for more though it takes years like gakuen alice.. But when it comes to yaoi, I stop when I need to. Too many feelings ㅠㅠ I continue others if they are yaoi and comedy at the same time. Yea. I am a killjoy fujoshi lol

I feel the same thing, i always regret when i finish yaoi manga that still ongoing. Moreover if the update takes so long. But I still wait for the shojo/sounen manga, even if it take years. I just can't be patien forr yaoi, the best thing to do is read better story and forget the ongoing story, than when there is an update i usually reread it

I usually do that too. Several Yaoi took forever to update so I forgot it and reread everything from chap 1 when it releases new. And for some Yaoi I'm not interested in, I never continue even it has updated. Actually, I did that to some shoujo/shounen too except for some long manga like one piece, I feel regret to stop when already get so far

Many people like you too. I think usually Yaoi has a climax in every volume which means like another different short stories and usually it get more depressed. So stop in the end of volume is happy ending. But for my experience, other genre like shoujo or shounen have long progress go through many volumes to get a main goal usually happens at the end. Obviously you won't satisfy until you go to the end, it still have many things not make senses or still not explained at all. But everyone has their own way to read Yaoi so I just want to say what I think

Yes. Shoujo and shounen can have more developments so it is okay to wait plus their updates are on regular basis...at least for most mangas. For yaoi, the only manga I am very patient with is 19 days and super lovers since they have many things to offer not just the usual semexuke relationship.. ♡
