I think the show is amazing, but where is the hate coming from? Like who's talking trash about the anime? (like on a website or somethin) Cuz if i find them im ready to fight (╬￣皿￣)凸
Even if it did have some romance, as long as the plot is good then who cares. I really don't get why people have a problem with it. Like with No. 6. The main characters, both guys, like each other. Yeah, I guess that's pretty significant, but it isn't the point of the story. The story is so amazing, but simply the idea of there being a gay character is such a turnoff for many people.
Oh dear the hates everywhere they even made hate snapchat videos,live reactions and in tumblr there is like a war but the hate's mostly in fb anime pages.But they started bitching the show even before it started if you watch the comments on the yuri on ice trailers they are bitching.The shows GREAT the art is majestic and the director pretty famous and talented. Let them live in hate while we enjoy (づ￣ ³￣)づ YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE hohoho ;)
Omg No.9 was a masterpiece and its so underrated in mal.Even in famous anime there are gay romances (let's not forget mirai nikki or evangelion) they are not bitching about these.They are bitching about fanservice!!! Saying bad things about yuri on ice disencourage people from watching this beautiful show. :|

Calling someone gay is not an insult, the community uses the label LGBTQ - Lesbian, GAY, Transgender, Bisexual and Queer - so they use the term themselves.

If you haven't done so, I suggest reading the manga as well. I heard how the anime ended, and the manga ending is a lot less sad.
So it's not just me. I mean, I read yaoi, but I also like other manga. I'm seeing all this yaoi stuff and I'm like, Am I on the yaoi part of the site? So apparently the answer to that is that every part of the site is the yaoi part, lol.
what bothers me is that there is sooooo much fanservice for heterosexual men. oodles and oodles of it to the extent that it's the norm in non-yaoi manga. but the moment there's a bit of fanservice for people who like yaoi, so many people get up in arms. like gross!!! how dare they have fanservice for people who aren't heterosexual men!!!!!!!!
