Are you kidding he was physically emotionally and sexually abused by him for majority of his life the last time, it’s going to take some time for him to separate this majesty and the one before when they look exactly the same and this majesty has proved to still have the same capacity for violence, lashing at everyone when he finds out yeo-dam didn’t eat, throwing daggers at people who enter a room he’s in, burning down entire palaces, etc
That happened in a previous life but this is the same yeo-dam, those experiences happened to him, and just because someone changed or is not what they could be doesn’t mean that they’re OWED the chance for forgiveness, if yeo-dam chooses to never let it go then that’s his choice. Yeo-dam was manipulated by him for years and years he’s likely waiting for the other shoe to drop like “if I stay here long enough he’s gonna get frustrated, then he’s going to treat me just as badly as before”
Listen i get it i really do but what I'm saying is that even the tiniest bit of change in his personality can completely change the outcome of this life ( idk how to say it ) and u can clearly see that he genuinely likes him and cares about him throughout the last few chapters ( specially in this one ) I'm not saying that he should be completely forgiven but when his personality is progressing in thoes ccouple of months more than it did in the last several years in the past life i think he should be given a chance
Not to mention that the emperor got to spend time with him ( even if he was deceiving him and pretending to be a child which is horrible ) for eight years ( i think ) and got to know him better so this relationship is not as rushed as the other one
I feel like his majesty changed so much for the better and yeo-dam has n right to treat him badly .... in fact I'm alittle bit annoyed at yeo-dam cuz he's ignoring all the changes he's seeing in his majesty and brushing it off as "it's just my imagination" like honey is u blind
