I hope you don't mind answering a few questions. How far into the story does he find out that the bird is her? And does he fall in love with her right away?

I'm just saying this according from the manhwa. It's pretty early on, ch 13/15 or so. He went berserk and Amelie used her power to calm him down. So he knows she's a witch and asked her to go with him. And from the looks of it, instinctively he's drawn to Amelie but not to a point of affection. Yet.
