In the novel (well the version I read) when Qinqqinq gets transported back into her world, all her children were left behind and her little girk was left with Bluepool. He actually kept rejecting and just protecting her daughter, even until the last chapter. But in all honesty I read it a while ago and read/watch a tons of things on the daily so I may be wrong.

Also, not that it makes it any better, but she kinda met Curtis in the same way, mans kidnapped her.

There's like two halfs I explicitly remember reading something like "okay y'all so this CAN be and ending but if y'all wanna see the second part here you go" and Qinqqinq with Curtis and Muir teleport (since thise two were the only five stripes mates) so Parker and Winston had to fight and get their last makr to teleport to her land. But her daughter stays with Bluepool abd he protects her for a very long time. So that may be why I feel bad for him since he longed for her for so long after she left fhehfuf

Facts, because she really did allow pity to make her claim all of them. I don’t see much wrong with the relationship dynamics because it is realistic for animals to behave territorial. They may look human but they are driven by their animal instincts along with being raised in that sort of society. In her world I hope they all receive therapy so they can understand healthy relationship dynamics fr.

EXACTLY!! I don't know why it wasn't mentioned more in detail here but they make it pretty obvious in the Novel they have more animal characteristics than human ones. They pretty much view their mates as gods and treat them well since they don't want them to be rejected.
