I do agree that parents have a major connection to how a child is brought up. Back in the older times, you had babies just to breed the family name. I feel like now, most children are conceived by the parents wanting them out of love and not obligations to that extent (tho some babies tend to be a little fun the parents had, doesn’t mean they aren’t loved ;)) It’s just goes to show the views of the current generations and how they are different from the past. Time after time, people could see the same repeated mistakes of their ancestors letting their children kill family members to be the new head of the family that their children were probably like… fuck it. It’s not worth it.
Come at me all you want, I am a first time mother so I do have insight on children and how I plan to raise my child so idgaf if y’all think I’m wrong. It’s my opinion.

is that being a parent is an obligation that's more huge and heavier than most of us think. In these kinds of manhwas/mangas/manhuas, the villains' twisted mindset and actions are often, if not always, rooted in their parent's wrong upbringing of them. I know ya'll might counter argue that every person has a free will. But sometimes the problem is, how can they choose to do what is right when all their life they've never been shown goodness, they've grown in a toxic environment nurtured by their toxic families...What do you guys think?
Ngl, I know these webtoons sometimes exaggerate things but they partly made me scared of the thought of raising kids because of the heavy and fragile responsibility, you know?
