There's a missing page before she fell down.
The guy who hit her wasn't the one who rushed first, he was stopped but the guy behind him rushed towards her. That guy hit her with a riding crop. She tried to set up a barrier to defend but her magical power ran out and it hit her on her arm. This would later reveal the secret she tried to hide.
