Lmaooo noo, both Ishid and the prince loved the horse. When the horse got killed by the emperor as a 'lesson' to not have 'weakness', the prince called Ishid a monster for not reacting (he just stood and watched) but Ishid said the horse died because of the prince who openly adored the horse instead of hiding it from the emperor's eyes. That's why the prince tried to 'hide' Raelle among all the other ladies.
