For me, it is not because I was getting popular. But I secured job rather early and have my own money when others still studying in univ.
That's what made then come around. It was like:
"Hey. Been long time! Still remember me? Are u busy? Let's meet up."
And after that, it will divided like:
"Congrats on the job! So, will today lunch on yours? It's ur day after all!"
"So I've some problems. (explaining). Do think u can lend me some money? I promise I'll pay it back soon."
