For me, it’s the slow update that killing me (≧∀≦)
i feel like your side is justified but in another note i feel like she’s opening up in her own way yk? since she had no one to rely on and was basically thrown away it’s take a bit to no longer be weary of everyone and so far there’s been nothing to push a character development you know? idk maybe that’s just the sleep talking
i disagree in saying that she's weak willed, there really is no way for her to be stronger by herself, considering her disability, but having strong people who follow her is a way of gaining strength and independence, in a way she's becoming a leader and is actively trying to find freedom, although she doesn't know exactly what she herself wants yet (me too, i don't really have a goal in life either). i get that it's so satisfying when MC is the strong badass i could never be, and i love revenge stories, but it's quite nice to see MC prioritise herself and the people before she thinks about getting back.
To be honest I found myself extremely frustrated with this story about 10 chapters in due to the fact that the FL is so weak minded and she has no drive or skills of any kind. She continues to depend on the actions of others and has no desire to better herself and not continue to be 100% dependent on other people. I know she was abused however this is a FANTASY novel, and while I do enjoy seeing a character blossom, it gets tiring to have to see characters take so long to even have the desire to gain independence. (Please feel free to share your opinion cause i might just be insensitive) :)
