His dad doesn't like KJ at first because of his reputation of "playing around" with betas. The dad ran a background check on Kj too if you remember and found out his reputation and that he was still seeing his beta fwb after meeting WY, although they weren't official yet. But the dad didn't like this because he's so protective of WY and was worried he'd get hurt later on.

i dont get what he wants. His son found a rich successful business man. So his father sends him to USA unsupervised? Does he want him dating some random losers in a foreign country?
