because Makoto needs to learn how to handle these situations and not gloss over it, for real this time. Makoto should have never trusted that filthy bastard again but because Makoto has an inferiority complex (his self esteem is very low) he let that person approach him again. Now it's high time to draw lines and stop him once and for all... is what i think the author means (=・ω・=)
