The real uke of this story is Aaron. The photographer drugged him to take those pics for Benny to have a reason for divorce.
But here's the catch. Benny only wanted to fake that they slept together, but the photographer couldn't resist and they actually slept together that night.
Eventually the cat was both their lovers, but he started to have feelings for Aaron, so he came clean with benny's plan and told him everything he did and how they've been fucking for a long time and that he wasn't the only man Benny cheated with.
Aaron kinda justified his actions and blamed himself because he chose not to give Benny a child, and that made the relationship die, but here is where you lose your shit.
Aaron find Benny (at a party i think???) and tell him he loves him and bla bla bla, kisses him passionately, the cat sees them and was like "Can i join you both?" so it seems like he was after a threesome all along. Anyway, they shot the door at his nose and we have yet to see if they fuck or not. End of spoilers.
