I think it's mostly because she's not interesting like Penelope from DitOEftV and Eris from KtV. Dana is more gentle, isn't ambitious with her goal (she's just waiting for them to get together so she can leave), and etc. When she's not being ambitious, ppl think of her as being dumb there could be other reasons tho.
Nah... my sole reason to not like her wholy is her opinion of Stella. And I don't mean accepting that her "best friend" fell for her man at first sight, will steal him from her and cause her death. And let's be honest, that would be enough to dislike someone but put up with them. I mean how Stella is rude, bratty, annoying, jealous and spoiled and mc still manages to think of it as being cute...
Because Stella is the protagonist of the book she read. She knows her as a kid-like girl who doesn't think twice about their actions. Who would instantly feel sorry once they realize their mistakes. And as explained, Aru and Stella are the protagonists of the book she read. A couple who madly falls in love with each other at first sight. So seeing Stella's jealousy over Dana and Aru made her think it was cute. Because whenever she sees her being jealous, she thinks, "Aru likes you, silly."
Yeah I know she can feel that because she disassociates with that reality. I mean that I don't relate with her both as a reader and as a current character in the book because unlike her I'd hate Stella's character both by her personality and what she did to the og, or book, Dana. So in her place I'd be holding myself back from suckerpunching her instead of thinking her cute.
But as I said, this is one thing I dislike in her, not everything. And I'd probably do the same as her to come back to earth... probably... that or sent the plot to hell and be like f this sh, immout... (￣∇￣")
Ah... that doesn't mean I think Dana is dumb ok? She's pretty smart actually. I just disagree with her about Stella... (=・ω・=)
I don't get why the FL gets to be called dumb just because she isn't giving you the reaction you guys wanted. She's not attached to this world and wants to go back home. Why can't people just understand this fact instead of pushing her to be molded like the typical isekai'd character who wants to stay alive? She doesn't care that the three are the primary reason why she will die in the future. So is she still supposed to feel hatred nor be wary of the characters?
